Same as above. Recorded voice (well educated English) saying a law suit taken out against me ( didn't specify if it meant me or my husband, both retired) and to press 1 to speak to case officer. Stupidly I did press I out of curiosity and was told to leave a message. I realised it was a scam and hung up without speaking but am now worried that by pressing 1, I may have inadvertently enabled scammer to access my phone details or worse. Can anyone reassure me that as long as I did not speak or confirm persona
Contrary to popular belief with the below comments. It IS actually HSBC calling you, just enquiring about credit card payments (or late payments etc). Only want the information so they can identify you, they are also really helpful.
