I ve been called 5 times today from this number. The caller is difficult to understand in a heavy Asian/Indian accent. Different approach each time he calls, the first time telling me he was from British Gas your electricity provider and wanting to renew my contract, (i m with another company) so I asked him to stop calling and please remove me from his calling list, he just carried on with his spiel so i put phone down. Called by this number between 8.10 & 8.40 for the past few days (27.10.20) but it cuts off when I answer. It also also doesnot take calls.

No idea, because my BT Call Guardian intercepted....obviously they did not want to say who they were to try to get through. Call Guardian has put an end to these nuisance calls...

We have had 5 calls from this number this week. Husband challenged them why he was calling and was given a load of abuse. Don t know if this has anything to do with it but we recently changed providers from Sky to Plusnet, also we were bombarded with calls like this a few years back when we switched from BT to Sky.the timeing just seams a bit odd

Are based in Scotland with no known office in 01305 exchange area. Have calls from Scotland re-routed through local exchange numbers in order to persuade people to answer a local number. If you call it back, then the call is again re-routed back to their Scotland office. Not sure if this is an illegal practice under telephony legislation, but would be interested if anyone can come up with the legislation about having calls re-routed to give the answering CLI the impression that the call is local.
