I had a call from this number and was instantly suspicious. I phone Lloyds (PhoneBank) number to be told that this number belongs to the Lloyds Credit Card Collection department (I had missed a payment due to personal circumstances) and they wanted their money. Like most people, I am suspicious of individuals whose language skills are a lot less than mine and have a heavy accent. First said it was from Sky, (knew my name and address), said my contract ended now in begin of April, I corrected saying it was only next month. Began insulting me after he said I should stop wasting people’s time if I don’t need the loan. Politely asked to watch his tone. Started screaming “Shut Up! Shut Up!”. Hung up. Called from the mobile number just to say “Fuck You”.

Being a resident of Wigan Borough I answered this Wigan number (01942) in case it was something important. Caller identified themselves as Insurance Review, saying I needed to review my Life Insurance, they mentioned the panel of insurers they work on behalf of and said they give impartial advice . I can t say whether they are legitimate or not, but seems like they re just a 3rd party sales/referral channel for these insurers. Probably nothing more than an irritation, but I would avoid giving details

Got a call from this no is for life insurance
Fraud - this was an automated call supposedly from HMRC, which said that there was a tax fraud case in my name and unless I pressed 1 and speak to the officer overseeing the case. If I didn't, there would be a warrant issued and I would be arrested shortly. This is disgusting - what if it had gone to a vulnerable or confused person. It didn't mention my name, but if someone is frightened enough that will not register.

Weird phone call. Called me up on Skype and all you you hear is a voice saying "please hold the line". Call the number back and it instantly gives you the error tone.
