Called today and ulikely to originate from the UK based on the poor line. The person kept using my first name (i.e., Mr A***). She told me she was calling about an accident I d had for which I wasn t at fault. I asked her if that was in the BMW and she said "Yes I think so"...I don t drive a BMW and have never owned one! Female caller asks whether I ve been in an accident (FYI - this is not a real person, just a very cleverly recorded message that is only triggered by the words Hello and Yes ) put through to a bloke asking whether I d been in an car accident...pretended to not hear him very well and wound him up a bit before he put the phone down on me!

Absolutely disgusting!! He was screaming down the phone at me telling me how rude I was and calling me all the names under the sun just because I told him that I don t have time to take a sales call and could he please email any info he has through for me to look at! I told him not to call again and blocked the number from calling. When I tried to call back to speak to a manager to complain there is no answer! So angry!!

This is a scam where they pretend to be BT and will give you te above number to call with an id code to verify their authenticity. They tell you they want to shut down your Broadband for 5 days due to errors - blah blah. Probably after they will try to get access to your pc in some way. Don t know cos I crashed out and phoned BT who said it was a scam.

Criminals who call TPS registered numbers, Indian voice. Clearly have personal info about accidents and trying to progress personal injury claims. Cut the line when asked company name. NEED TO BE SHUT DOWN AND PROSECUTED, IDEALLY WITH VIOLENCE.
