Definitely a scam said that over £1,000 had been taken out of my account by Amazon and someone else. Automated message, put the phone down
This was a call from refund on a BitCoin account I had 5 years ago, that I never traded with and closed down within weeks of opening. The chap couldn't give me any background or was willing to listen to what I had to say. I made it evident that I wasn't comfortable about going on my computer to access an account and he got rather aggressive in his tone. I said I wasn't happy with his tone and he turned it on me. In the end he was very rude and put the phone down on me.

SCAM Cold call from John of the equity team claimed changes to equity release scheme, wanted to ask me questions to see if I was eligible 'phishing' said I wasn't interested, he said I didn't need to be at this stage I then said he had cold called and it was illegal he said that wasn't right. I repeated he was a cold caller and I wasn't interested. He remained polite but realised he was getting nowhere. I withheld my number and rang 01970607568, it rang, then automated voice, number not accepting calls.

Says they are from O2 and told me that I am getting a massive discount on my contract as I've been with them for so long. The funny thing is, I'm not even with O2 and as soon as I pointed this out (while laughing) they immediately hung up.
Fraud the user of this number is posing as being from o2 and offering discount packages on contracts. They even sent me a txt with a pin code to access my account. This is a fraudulent call
SCAM This number was the first of three (others were 0208 888 7676 and 01782 254545) which I received on 17th and 18th July 2023, telling me I had security problems with users accessing my computer files. This is either a scam or someone trying to sell something. When type the number in on google, it comes up with a man named Jake Stacey. He said he was working for Amazon and needed to track down who had ordered 2 mobile phones from Amazon using my bank details (which he had) but had arranged to be delivered to an address that was not mine. To do this he wanted me to go into my bank app and arrange a transfer of £5000 to an account for which he provided and which my bank cleared as existing. I went along with it up to the point of transfer and he then became pressing and agitated.

So Octopus Brokers pretending to be an Energy Company, are selling private details to third parties who want to put lethal equipment in people's homes so they can cut people off when they feel like it. I will report them to the ICO. Section 4(2) of the Fraud Act 2006 covers fraud by abuse of position which the billing company deliberately omit. The are committing fraud as they have no valid contract with anyone. Smart Meters cause health issues and should be banned asap.I blocked the scammer. No consent.
This number called me claiming someone had used a visa card in my name for a £900.00 purchase. They then asked for bank details, passwords etc, I don't have a visa card, this is most definitely an attempt to access my bank account in a criminal way for criminal purposes.

SCAM - pretending to be from BT - about my internet speed. BT is not my ISP, but call using a local Derby number told me that BT is the parent company of all Interned and Broadband services, not true!
