If you get a call you should answer or call back as the problem is that the initial database maker sells your number on to other junk call companies. If you have a call from them you should call the number back and ask for James, the call centre manager and demand where they got your number from. Claimed to be from The Pensions Service and said he had details that my pension had not be reviewed for the past 6 months. I asked him how he would have this information and surprise - surprise the phone went dead.

I am getting a lot of calls from this number and I try to turn the tables on them by asking questions rather than supply answers.

I had a call from this number and was instantly suspicious. I phone Lloyds (PhoneBank) number to be told that this number belongs to the Lloyds Credit Card Collection department (I had missed a payment due to personal circumstances) and they wanted their money. Like most people, I am suspicious of individuals whose language skills are a lot less than mine and have a heavy accent.
