Seems to be used for some telemarketing call center - this range of numbers 12249246xx (common feature, they use more numbers of the same range) is mostly reported with inusrance marketing, PPI - Industrial Hearing Injury, but also loans - financial management. Just block it if not interested (I use the app from these pages, no problems). People did they call you with the same or something new?

Just had a call with them claiming to be from Microsoft and I'm being hacked. We spoke for around 30 minutes, she's called Georgia but wouldn't disclose her age, origin etc. I asked her a bit about football and why Argyle are only set to receive £100k from the Conor Houriane Barnsley to Villa deal, bloody clueless was our Georgia. Eventually I got bored and advised her to take it up with my ISP as I would only deal through them. They clearly have info on us but why on earth they would expect us to deal with

Asked if I wanted help with my loans and ppi - i queried what loans and ppi - they eventually admitted they don t know what loans or ppi - so i declined. I was then informed by the experienced sales person that he supposed ignorance is bliss and if I want to live like that then so be it. There s a four letter word with his name all over it... needless to day despite many times of asking them to scrub me from their databases they continue to pester me with inane rubbish.
0345 351 0192 called me twice at 08.50 and 09.00 hours. I answered the second call and got a recorded message (which gave my first name wrong, called me Michaela not Nicola!). Saying they were Lloyd’s Bank and inviting me to press any button to speak to someone about fraud on my account. I DO NOT HAVE A LLOYDS ACCOUNT! Very late last night I also received two text messages saying that it was Lloyd’s Bank who had noticed fraudulent activity on my account. I deleted both messages. I am certain that this is a
rang today.
