I'm not too certain about the caller, as he started off by saying both my Company name & personal name, & he'd obviously "done his homework" as when I asked him who was calling, he said the name of my provider. Unfortunately he spoke at the speed of sound, so when I asked, he said he'd speak slower, but then the line disconnected, so I didn't get to find out whether the caller was genuine or not. Could well be a scam. They send a link through Dropoff Services asking for name and address details and asking for £2.99 by Visa or Mastercard to deliver an unknown parcel. Warning Be aware Scam l think They have texed me 6 days in a row !

Called stating they were from Currys PC World when I asked what the call was regarding they replied with "special offer promotion iPhone 14 pro for £35 a month." Currys don't do phone contracts as far as I'm aware. I said I'm not interested and they hung up.
Said they were from customer care but the line was very crackly and couldnt hear what else, she was English which surprised me.
This number 01133100118 which shows as Leeds rang me & offered to beat my network provider by 30% without knowing who i was with, 5 minutes later the same man (john) rang me again with the same offer, this time the number 01143560006 came up as Sheffield. Leeds to Sheffield in less than 5 minutes is pretty fast so i think these numbers are being spoofed from a computer.

SCAM ...said he was from O2 wanting me to upgrade phone and contract. Put me on to female supervisor when I said no! Said she would text me a code to prove who she was... I just watched the scam baiters on YouTube and this is just what the scammers do. Do not fall for it. Contact the company yourself if you want to upgrade!
