An automated voice said - You are wanted for unpaid taxes & if you you want to avoid possible jail time press, "1" on your keypad. This is H.M.R.C., (claim to be Tax Office). I didn't press 1, (scared it was a scam)! I'm going to phone them & hope to find out who they are.

But the 121 message service only catches the end of the message which asks you to press now to avoid court proceedings. Therefore this appears to be a Scam and the number should be treated with extreme caution. Insurance Called from Direct Insurance about my kitchen appliances claiming that as I hadn't made a claim in over a year they could offer me a substantial discount on my renewal fee. The thing is, although I haven't claimed I am NOT insured with this company. I've now had three or four calls and each time I've asked them politely to remove my details from their database but they still keep calling! I told them today I would report them to you.
