Safe number: this is the number used by Apple is you ask for a phone call to verify your Apple account. It's actually in Texas in the US, and not Liverpool - it's a quirk of formatting. I know because I've just been through the system and dialled the number back to confirm.

Seems to be a number that is dialled by the subscribed to "fall" alarm installed. I use the call button to cancel false alarms. Annoyingly this is a premium number in my phone package.

Then they wanted our email address, and I enquired why was that necessary if the survey was online - all they needed to do was provide me with the web address. The caller later later confirmed they were an independent market research company , and continued to ask for my email address. Of course, I never provided it.
