Said he was a senior supervisor from bT - advised that my Internet connection was being hacked in middle of the night for fraudulent reasons - asked me to turn on my computer and he could show me what was going on. very rude when I questioned him - told me he was based at 81 Newgate Street in London - but definitely a long distance call. Gave me this number when I said I wanted to call him back. 100% sure this is a scam - watch out - they try to get you through fear and urgency.
Same call again from an Asian gentleman purporting to be from Windows Tech informing me of harmful viruses/ error messages on my computer and attempting to bamboozle me into giving over control of my comp to enable one of their tech team to rid me of said viruses. This chaps name was Robert..very Asian....seeing as I was bored I managed to string him along for 25 minutes getting him to repeat and spell everything until eventually the penny dropped and he hung up. Be warned

Fraud They claimed to be HMRC (recorded) Claiming there is an accusation of fraud against me. Stating that If I do not press 1, I will be arrested immediately.
