these are the tactics of scammers. you cant fight back, just ignore it. i get the same calls over and over again.
Since when does HMRC call from abroad and with an American accent. Sadly I could not register this on 1572 to prevent more time-wasting. If you get a similar call, ring off at once

SCAM Has phoned twice. Says this is your bank and there are 2 strange transactions on your account. Doesn't name the bank. The transactions are £300 to Amazon and £1000 to overseas banking. Stated if this was not you press one to speak to your bank or press to to speak to an advisor. BANK SCAM
SCAM re: Amazon account. Told there had been a large purchase, wanted details of my account.

SCAM / SPAM seems to be some kind of loan farm, indian accents and had several calls from different numbers in the north west over the last 24 hours and they all call back to the same answer phone message. Avoid!
SCAM Claiming to be from HMRC fraud team, AVOID
Seems to be the same company "Excellent Life" that has been complained about under another number.
