Number appeared within a text message pertaining to be from Halifax bank. Text message told me that my card had been used at Apple Store for £ and to call this number if it wasn’t me. Halifax fraud team say this is a hoax.

Obtained my details inc address following a small car accident. Gave me some story about the other guy putting in a claim for whiplash and said I could also claim. I told them ( after a fair few discussions) that I simply had no claim to make whatsoever. When I was put through to a "Senior Claims Manager" I told him the same. I asked how they got my details and the line went mysteriously crackly every time they started to explain. They hung up when I repeated I HAVE NO CLAIM. I did manage to record their ca

I advertised my car online for sale and was called by this number regarding an updated valuation on my car. I advised that I had sold the vehicle and was told I would not be contacted again and records updated. CS was very friendly and I did not feel like it was a nuisance call.
SCAM Automated credit card fraud warning led to call centre which had name & address from old phone book listing. Hung up with a curse when asked for last 4 numbers of card in question

A call with an automated message about a case being filed against me by HMRC. I have barred the tel. no. (01618 506868) as a scam. Be aware that if you call back, someone might answer as if HMRC. The foreign gent sounded unsure of himself when I queried his being with HMRC, so I laughed and said "I don t think so!"and hung up.
