A friend has also had this call and told me that the line takes you through to someone that's just trying to steal and gather your information.

It's not coming from a Scottish hotel. Not unless they have got into the spoof phone call business. It's someone proporting to renew an Amazon prime account. We don't have one but be very warey if you do. They also leave a message so don't be fooled by that.
