This is a scam number, claiming to be my bank checking on unauthorised payments. It was an automated call.
SCAM pretending to be my bank regarding a withdrawal. Hung up on them
SCAI was called from this number this morning. I had to ask twice who was calling but the caller's accent was so difficult to make out I still don't know where it was from. I did catch something about them submitting a compensation form on my behalf - something I have not done or requested. It all sounded very suspicious so I said they had the wrong number then hung up. I really wish something could be done to put a stop to these constant cold calls. It is unacceptable.
I got an email from PayPal, saying I purchased a cell phone & that payment is now due. I called the number on the invoice from PayPal, a man with a thick indian accent answered & struggled to speak good English to explain himself. He asked me for the invoice number & said that a purchase was made IN MY NAME although my opening remarks were 'I don't have a PayPal account but I received an email requesting payment for a purchase' - when I asked him 'what's my name?' he hung up! THIS IS A SCAM 0203

My phone showed "suspected scam" didn't answer, have recently received other calls from +442080 numbers showing "potential fraud"

SCAM They contact people selling things online and suggest that you ship it with an arranged courier. Long story short: they send you a fake URL where you are supposed to confirm that you received your payment, by entering your credit card data and the 2-factor authentication code you would receive as SMS. Do yourself a favour and don't event waste your time talking to them.

Jason Phillips called me from this number and then sent 2 email copy letters with Financial Ombudsman Service at top right of the letters, stating a big refund for my solar PV. He asked for covering payment upfront saying it is needed to cover costs of UK Law Associates before a refund could be arranged. I had no positive proof of who he was/is and declined the payment. I am perusing this through the ombudsman who is handling the case of mis-sold pv for me.
