He was told as much as well, maybe if these conmen weren't struggling to read their scripts and calling supposed customers 'dude' and 'mate' it would be slightly more believable, utter scumbags... Was called by 01285 311 018 from Cirencester near Preston. I answered and didn't say anything and waited for the caller to speak but they hung up instantly. I think this is a way of discovering which numbers are genuine numbers and then unscrupulous firms sell the info on to further unscrupulous firms! Better not to answer or you will just receive more calls from unwanted numbers. Instantly blocked the number afterwards.

SCAM Said they were ringing me from the UK Benefit Department. As soon as I said they weren't they hung up. These are the same people who say they work for Beneficial/ring about a road traffic accident in the last 2 years/ring about your life insurance policy or any other thing they can think of to try to get sensitive information out of you.
