SCAM / SPAM Said they were from BT and asking about my BT internet connection. I'm not with BT so assume it is a scam

SPAM. Number not recognised when you call back. Clearly up to no good.
Got a call from this no. today. It sounded like a call centre so I hung up before they could apparently. Don't these phone calls cost them anything - why do they hang up.

I think the girl s voice is entierly automated, witha computer that listens to your answers then attmpts to give the correct reply. When I challeged and questioned if she was live or a "robot" I was disconnected
