The caller claimed to be from BT Openreach. He said my router had indicated fluctuating internet speed. He wanted me to run a speed test to identify my router. I queried his credentials. He offered to prove he knew the ID number of my connection. He asked me to open a cmd window and run the 'assoc' command. He told me the number that followed CLSID near the bottom of the resulting list. (This number is actually the same for all Windows users and nothing to do with internet access.)

This number must be part of the range of numbers dedicated to the same call centre - I can see more similar numbers of the same range 12544731xx reported already, mostly with insurance marketing. In the case of this number they left no message, no idea who is behind it? People please did someone answer it? I really don't answer unknown numbers and don't want to call them back, trying to dig some info about this number on internet first...

Called me today to tell me I had won free euromillions tickets and that my luck had got me this far... I could be the next jackpot winner.... I hung up and blocked the number.

“Tom” claiming you be someone advisory from government about loft installation causing damp and mould. Wants to arrange visit and says his manager will call back in 15minutes to confirm -sounds dodgy. Quite forceful.

Some one called me pertaining to be from T S B Bank today 20 June 17 at 19 41 on this number 08000128015 Did not answer any question put the Fone Down

They asked to speak to the homeowner, I didn't give them a chance to go further as I have signed to TPS so they shouldn't have called in the first place; hence the negative rating.

This No. is used by Community Call Prevention - a company that claims to reduce unwanted calls. All they do is charge you a monthly fee to register you on the free TPS register This company is a part of the problem, not the solution. They have been told many times to stop calling & that all percieved "permissions" to call have been recinded. They say, each time, that the previous operator didn't action the request properly and promise it is fixed now...

Yet another call from robot-voice 'Chris' calling from a 'local' energy company about my loft insulation. It's a Bournemouth number. I'm about 130 miles away. Not sure I'd call that local.
