Recorded message says they are the energy helpline which is obviously a total lie. I have no relationship with energy helpline or any such service and am sick of being called. I m with the TPS and will be reporting this number.
Nuisance calls all the time
I received a text message telling me that I had won a £500 prize from Argos! nI have never entered a contest with Argos...so immediately I am suspicious

I get calls from 0208 numbers every morning but rest of number always different. Yesterday I called back and got a cut off sound, today I called back another 0208 number and got the message that the number is not recognized. They are obviously all fraud, scam, or what you like to call them numbers and I don't understand how BT cant catch these phony landline numbers being used.

SCAM Ben purported to be calling from visa in Londong when asked. I refused to confirm my name and card number and he ended the call by say "You mother F******"

i answered this number and the caller said he was from orange calling about my upgrade, I put him off and he called twice more. I talked about my upgrade, he new all my details and gave his opinion on suitable mobiles for me - even advising on my usage and a better phone for me because of it. I contacted orange the day after and they had no record of my call, upgrade or anything about this ? a waste of time and effort if this was a crank call, not sure of the purpose for the scammer but will be checking m
