Called claiming I had entered a competition online 3-6 months ago to win an iPhone 7! I advised I hadn't he started telling me I didn't remember and my phone number was successful. I again said I hadn't and he carried on talking so I terminated the call and blocked the number. Scarily he knew my first name.
Line for shared costs, there are more similar numbers reported (just last 2 or 3 digits alternated) - so I assume this should be the same call centre. This seems to be some good working money trap, similar numbers are reported as robocalls - surveys, scam offers (in most cases some financial offers). For sure some general call centre. I recommend to block the whole 8438327xxx range... People don't fall for it. Did someone answer any number of this range?
