This lot are scammers, They called me today to say that I have a £400 refund due from Microsoft (bells ringing) They must be using some sort of phone clone software to make them look as though they are from the UK. I told the guy that I don't have any Microsoft devices, so wwhy are they calling me? He went through some story about Microsoft owns the internet, even if you use Apple devices, Android devices etc. I told him he was a scammer he swore at me and hung up

Checked with Vodafone and they confirmed its not them.
This number has rung all day long. When I did answer, a man said he was from the Telephone preference service, and said they could give me help with unwanted calls. Hung up.
Called to cancel a supcription so they didn't automatically renew like they said they would without me calling. They said they had to take over control of my laptop to pull up a secure form which I didn't find suspicious as that was how I signed up for it.
