I get lots of telephone calls from this number but they never seem to still be there when I pick up. It s not possible to call back. Is this a fake number?

Caller knew my name and address. From a particular error within it, I believe he had obtained it via my GP surgery or the NHS. He wanted to ask me 'three yes-or-know questions' which would take 40 seconds. I declined to confirm my identity and asked who was paying him to call me. He avoided any reply. I kept him tied up for longer than his schedule allowed, and so he eventually hung up on me.

The caller said he was from BT Openreach and that my IP Address had been hacked from overseas. I hung up as I thought that it was a scam!
