Eon wanted to renew our electricity contract that was about to expire. We don t have a contract with Eon for anything!! When questioned they hung up.The number shown on the phone does not work!

Why cannot someone stop people getting these telephone lines - there should be a law to prevent this scamming

Called & asked for me by name. Asked me for details about a loan I wanted to take out, which I haven t and don t want.Which I told them & hung up. Hopefully they will not call back, if they do I will report them to TPS. N.B probably got this call due to filling in on-line survey. So beware what surveys you fill in & what information you fill in.
Same I hung up after she wouldn?t accept I hadn?t registered for her investment site then called straight back, i didn?t answer the second time.
Called by this so called company yet again today (11:35 19-08-2015) claiming that I had not claimed my PPI refund on a loan I had in 2005.....I ve never had a loan, so realised this was a scam....
Over 30 calls today and was threatening and abusive as well.
