Called asking had I been involved in a car accident that was not my fault
Fraud - Claimed to be call from Amazon about suspicious charge
Information I think this for Liverpool Road Dental in Stoke-on-Trent. They usually do a curtosy call to remind people of appointments.
Had call today about my non-accident from 0208 3634 9821, introduced by "Hannah" then transferred to "Christopher Angel" (or was it "Frank Fergusson" or "Uncl Tom Cobbley"). Claimed to be Based at 14 Tottenham Court Road. Had great fun talking to him (despite the noise in the background - what a busy office!!) about my non-accident. Eventually he caught on and hung up.

This company rang up. An Asian by the name of Alex Black can you believe!!! Gave the company name of Elucidate Contact Services in Romford, this is a third party acting on behalf of ppi claimline When I googled them nothing came up! When I tried to ring them back the number was dead. Went through the process of telling them my name which I made up, I even said I worked for the Trading Standards when I had the make believe loan.... it didn t click with them that I was winding them up.
