Harassment call

Has called me on my mobile sporadically for the past 4 months now. At first I tried to call it back and it just went straight through to on hold music. A voice said I would be connected to an agent as soon as possible, but I hung up after a minute or so. Checked my bill and it had charged me quite a bit to call back. Wouldn t trust.

Called me from London. I m in Australia on a private number.

0151 329 2348 - a company stated as Red Star said they wanted to help me with a refund - something to do with any credit cards I used to have ... When I told them that my number was registered with the TPS - they quickly hung up without saying bye or sorry!

Called me a few minutes ago today to offer me a deal regarding my debt management plan. I told them (truthfully) that I am ill and asked them to call back another time (which was generous as my debt management plan is working very well, and I didn t need to talk to them at all). They argued that didn t matter because blah blah and were very rude, talking over me. I regained control and repeated that I was unwell. I have called applianceserve on 08004118899. I said I had asked for a refund of the £175 I had paid for my washing machine to cover the next 3 years following the expiry of the manufacturer s guarantee but had not received any response. Having seen comments on the internet saying it was a scam, I said if the company is genuine then please can you arrange a refund. She looked up my details and said someone will call me tomorrow in office hours. She sounded pleasant - so - watch this space!!

using Tellows I see that this number is based in same area as other companies who cold call trying to get me to make investments.
