Seems to be used for some telemarketing call center - this range of numbers 14227180xx (common feature, they use more numbers of the same range) is mostly reported with car accidents, PPI claims, insurance marketing. Just block it if not interested (I use the app from these pages, no problems). Folks did they call you with the same or something new? I picked up the phone and it was just a guy telling me he was going to bring me a present back as though he had pocket dialled. I would have thought nothing of it but it s not the first time. Another time I had a voicemail from this number heavy breathing down the phone ending the voicemail saying what they don t know won t hurt them

Just got called by this number for the first time, it was an Asian woman wanting to discuss a matter regarding my account with lloyds. She wouldn't tell me any more, unless I "confirm" my d.o.b. and post code; I declined and asked them to mail me instead. Rang Lloyds afterwards and they told me that no Lloyds number starts with 0808 and that there was no issue to discuss. My advice is to block this number.
