Guy rang saying he was from Oxfam and Standing orders were more expensive than DD. Would I switch across? Concerned re: giving bank details out

SCAM pretending to be the HMRC, they accuse you of tax evasion and I suppose they will ask you to pay them whichever amount of money that you have supposedly not paid in tax.
there is no one on the other end of the phone and when I try to call it back it tells me the number has not been recognized.

says it’s for a survey? asked where they got my number from as i’ve never given anyone permission or entered my landline number anywhere and they dropped the call
SCAM Car accident call centre scam.
Definite scam. I looked up Starpro - Aberdeen. They call off different numbers all based in Aberdeen and there's loads of people stating that they were scam artists trying to claim to be a phone company and asking for details.
