Sam is apparently from Borehamwood WW??? (I live in Borehamwood) i don t know what WW part stands for, and i have no appointment for anywhere in Borehamwood anyway. No website was included in the text. I will not be calling the number to find out who they are. Plagued by scam numbers for ages now and blocked loads so this will be joining t

I was called by this number today, it was an automated message saying they were from HMRC and I was in default of a tax payment and a warrant had been issued for my arrest. To avoid this happening I should press 1 on my keypad if I do not press 1 then I will be arrested. I am assuming that if I pressed 1 it would either connect me to a premium rate number resulting in a huge bill or put me on to a person who would persuade me to hand over my bank details etc. I hung up.
I received calls from this number on a weekly basis telling me they are from Vodafone and want to offer me a better deal than my current contract with another phone provider. I have repeatedly told them I m not interested and want to be removed from the call list, to no avail.
