Rang to say the auto number needs renewing,, on direct debit which needed renewing. Wouldnt tell me what the auto number was, caller got frustrated and with an 'oh my god' hung up. Guess will never know what it was

Ijust answered a call from this number. There was a lot of noise in the background and it seemed that the person phoning, thought I was phoning him. When I pointed this out, he said "you ve got a bad attitude" and when I said "pardon" he said "you heard" and hung up!! Very rude and aggressive!

Caller asked for someone else who lives in the house by name - after teh ususal telemarketing pause of silence..... When I explained they were not in and asked if I could take a message, the caller sounded annoyed that the person he called for was not in, and then HE HUNG UP. . Cold caller? Telemarketer? Rang 4 times in the space of 3 minutes. Called back and number could not be recognised.
Phoned today at12.15 pm. Fairly gruff voice. Purportedly from BT. Asked me to confirm that I had been in touch with BT this morning. As I had, I said yes. There was some hesitation and a lot of background noise. I asked what he wanted. He asked if contact was by phone or mail (I think). I replied that the contact was on the internet and he abruptly ended the call.
