IT'S A DANGEROUS SCAM! A computer is dialling numbers in sequence to sniff out voice lines. If you speak then the line is detected as 'an active voice line' and logged as such, a scammer will then be calling you later! If you don't recognize the number calling DON'T SPEAK, JUST LISTEN! If you don't hear a voice and then the line goes dead then congratulations - you have just successfully escaped being scammed! THESE CALLS ARE HARASSING AND ALWAYS POTENTIALLY DANGEROUS!

Had two calls today from this number, 1st call no one there, second call after 6pm I requested removals from database as I am registered with the Telephone Preference Service (TPS) then I haunt up.

01915189725 Left a recorded message An American accent female no details of who they were and seemed to have missed out the begining as they did not mention my name or who they were. Said that there had been 2 charges on my card that I had not made before gave some amount and then the usual press 1 if this was not me.
