SPAM Says it comes from barclays. I am not with barclays. Here is the message: BARCLAYS: You have successfully paired a NEW DEVICE. If this was NOT you, immediately visit: https://barcIays-onlinebanking.com/ No WhatsApp, and doesn't answer the phone. If it were from barclays, it would come from 0800 number or 01 sort type numbers. Must be Russia. I'll send this number to USA army for checkings. Could be terrorists.
One hesitates to block an apparently legitimate UK number. Hesitating no longer, shall block it.

I listed an item on Gumtree and now I get these calls. I eventually answered and nothing at the other end so hung up. Gumtree stop selling my info.

Stef, in most cases blocking a number doesn t stop it calling (dialling your number) but does stop it ringing (making a noise).
