I received a call from this number on the 30/6/16 (16.20 BST). When I picked up the handset all I could here were background noises that sounded like a busy office, and I got no response from the caller, when I spoke. I received a similar call the day before, but this was from an entirely different number.

SCAM This is a scam number, when answered, it plays a voice recording claiming to be the national crime agency that your NI has been suspended due to a fraud investigation against you. These scammers must be really stupid if they really understand what is the purpose of NI!

Claimed to be from the Consumer justice group - PPI call Polite and left the call when I said it was not relevant to me (FYI: Consumer justice group exists as a US organisation , but not a UK one but should not be cold calling anyway)
