SCAM - the number wants to connect to your computer, allegedly from Norton AntiVirus. This is a scam number. Keep away.

Trusted to answer as it's a number local to me. Turned out to be an automated message claiming to be from VISA payments to say that my card had been charged £300 to Amazon and £1100 to Western Union, encouraged me to press 1 to dispute charges. Decided it was going to be a phishing scam and hung up.

Phone was off but had a missed call from this number and HUGE reported on line concerns from people about it. It worryingly coincides with DAILY Phishing e mails for past 3/4 months reported to report@phishing/ICO and Microsoft. Well, they phoned earlier and a recorded message informed me, that it was my banks security department, which it obviously wasn't, the number trace showed a call the Russian Federation, RED FLAG. She said, Somebody has accesed your account and made a £600 purchase fron Amazon and a £2,000 transfer to an international account, RED FLAG I politely told her to stop trying t scam people and she immediately hang up, basically, our phone providers should block these calls, as we are paying to receive them!

SCAM This number is after your money. It called me and an automated voice comes in and tells you that large sums of money are being taken from your Amazon account. They ask you to click a number to stop the transactions or to go ahead with the transactions. I hung up. Then later received the same exact message from a different number.

I didn't answer and they didn't leave a message. Yet another number to add to the ever increasing list of scam calls. When will the phone companies do something to stop them???

Very odd. Lady said she was doing research on behalf of a US charity into healthcare and no personal data would be taken. Asked how she got my number and she said it was 'randomly generated' by a computer. Very odd and certainly not into giving my views on our amazing NHS to a country that wants to bloody buy it off us!!

Scammy soensos. Called twice in a row. 1st time told me it was HMRC and I owed tax, Totalling 1235.00 Told me I needed to set up payment via Google play. It disconnected, and approx 20 min later called back. This time, told me its life insurance, updating my claim and offering me a payout, by paying a fee. Okay. Sure.
