this company must have rung me 30 times in the last few weeks. Uses a local landline prefix but is not a local number which is very very irritating. I rang them back today (I had blocked but they still keep ringing) to find out and was told basically it is relating to car accidents - I had one 5 years ago and this is the unremitting aftermath. Blocked for good now.
i told the woman on the other end that i was on tps. she said they checked their database before calling and i wasnt on tps. very rude.
Machine left a message on my answer phone saying they were Amazon prime calling about my membership fee. I do not have Amazon prime, so a scam

Trying to sell warranties on TVs: apparently we have a Samsung CRT in our front room which they d like to protect with a warranty, even though we have insurance and whatnot, and it s about 20 years old. Very difficult to get rid of: had to explain only watch 4hrs TV a week and had three spare TVs in house (also Internet TV) before caller went away.

Call about a minor accident asking me for info to claim for damages. I haven't been involved in an incident so am surprised they knew my name but a waste of time either way. I told them "I think you have the wrong number" and to be fair they said "sorry to trouble you" and left me alone.

Line for shared costs, there are more similar numbers reported (just last 2 or 3 digits alternated) - so I assume this should be the same call centre. This seems to be some good working money trap, similar numbers are reported as robocalls, fake wins, scam offers (in most cases some financial offers). For sure some general call centre. I recommend to block the whole 8436563xxx range... People did someone answer this number?
