possible scam call , number probably spoofed

Spoke with Chris who helped me with my ISA, good rate and he was very helpful.

I too get daily calls from this and similar numbers, block them on my phone but they soon use a different number. Now just ignore all calls with that prefix

Smart Alec who lies, saying he spoke to another member of staff last week who didn t know much (back handed compliment) Trying to sell I.T. programs and associated bits. Just mention the Telephone Preference Scheme and the half million pounds fine if he continues. It works.

Said someone from my number had been involved in an accident and that they had been notified. Told them straight that they hadn't and put the phone down

Guy calls saying I qualify for a refund due to a prior overpayment and that he can help me claim it. I ask where he s calling from, he says "consumer services". Starts asking for my banking details and I have to interrupt him again to ask what company the "consumer services" relates to. He answers with Reactiv Media and the continues badgering me for bank details. I stop him to say I don t recognise the name of the company and if he could remind me what service I purchased from them. He hung up.

this number rings , you see the code and think its genuine , WRONG , its one of those when no one there then it hangs up

This is the third call I have received. Caller said she was Windows Online Support. Tried to take control of my computer. I pretended to go along with her requests and kept her talking for 10 minutes before she eventually ended the call.

Untrustworthy scale - 10! Computer scam! Have been called at least five times in as many days. Different person each time (one time a woman, the rest were men). Some VERY aggressive. Call today from "The Review Team" about life insurance. When asked where they had got my number from they stated I had looked into life insurance on a comparison web site and given them permission. I stated this was not true and I was not interested in life insurance. Caller became rude and stated "you re just not listing to me are ya" true as I cancelled the call and blocked them

Endless calls with messages from a computer stating that they tried calling and may try later. Then asks me to call them on 03339997288. As yet I have never called them and I haven t answered their calls. Do they not know when to give up?

A scouser John called and said he was calling from property services ltd... or something, and was calling to see if I qualified for government subsidy. He was nice enough, but it worried me a bit that he knew my name and had my address. Politely asked him to remove me and do one.
