Called the number back and a lady with a northern accent answered and insisted she had not called me. She advised that she couldn't have called me as she had been in the Doctors getting her Covid vaccine. This is the 4th time I have received a call from a number beginning 07904 632 XXX to find someone on the other end who has no idea they have called and insist they haven't. These are EE numbers so I am wondering if there is an issue with EE.

This number seems to be used for a classical telemarketing, or it is a directly some general call centre. They usually work for some third company and call with offer of some goods or services for the actual company they were hired for. In this case the number is mostly reported in connection with accident insurance - ambulance chasers, financial management. Block it if not interested.

Seems to be the same call centre as 07722407332, 07722407970 - all the same range 077224079xx. I have been using the ShouldIAnswer mobile application from these pages, works fine, can stop such calls and also a range of numbers (very usefull for bocking call centres). No problems.
