Information 07355 118732 sent me a text message. HSBC: Direct Debit successfully set up to EE for 183GBP, if this was NOT YOU call us on 01313785729. I don`t bank with HSBC, but anyway, tried to call the number given. This just rings for a couple of minutes then get a message saying the mailbox is full. Therefore, both the mobile and landline numbers given are SPAM.

Scan call saying that they were from my bank and that over £300 had been taken out of my account to pay Amazon. I immediately, put the phone down and checked my balance. This was alot of rubbish. Advice ignore or report but do not respond or do anything else.

Second call in 2 days. Appears to be An Amazon Prime scam. Delay on the phone line, then message kicked in regarding renewal of Amazon Prime and to press button 1 to speak to service manager. Hung up as I don’t have Amazon Prime.

Rang off as soon as I answered & left no message, it did take me a while to get to my phone.

They called, but did not respond when corrected to the phone system filter prompts, apparently a fraudster with no honest story to tell the phone system.
I decided to answer and an Indian lady said she was from the "debt investigation department" . Apparently some government sceme to reduce your debt by 30-40%. I declined and hung up. Now blocked.

Went through all the comments, I found some painful, while some were funny. My conclusion is most people can still get scammed just because they can’t read in- between the lines. I’ve be victimized. Now I have a resident expert and a professional hacker who helped me recover my funds and so far, it had been worth it. Hackers easily know a bitcoin scam. This was an automated call claiming to be from a bank (unspecified), warning me about two purchases through Amazon, on my bank card. I had a similar call for a local number earlier in the day. I didn't click 1 or 2 to authorise or to get help. Apparently the number is a landline in Bangalore!

Potential scam/attempt fraud. Female voice, human not a recording, claiming to be an "energy adviser covering the area". Wouldn't shut up and answer questions/deal with a challenge to the "energy adviser" claim and caller hung up when challenged.
