this number keeps calling me and twice this morning but i do not answer .
Reckons they have a cheque for £3100 which they say is PPI I wrongly paid on a loan, a local delivery man would deliver the cheque and when it is cleared and the money is in my account he will call again to collect Paysafe Vouchers for £225 which I have to buy and show to the cheque deliverer before he will hand over the cheque. I ve never paid this amount of PPI. And it sounds to me as though the Paysafe vouchers are something which these fraudsters have set up so that when I buy the vouchers from the
SCAM Allegedly HMRC. Saying I must call them back.

I had a guarded conversation with the caller who, as mentioned above, was calling on behalf of the RSPCA. Apparently he wanted to confirm details for Gift Aid purposes, which raised suspicion in my mind as there are always boxes to tick when completing donation forms for any charity. He did have my name and postcode already and was very polite, but clearly working from a script. I have not ever donated by text.

This is a solar energy firm (Solar World or My Planet) trying to sell panels.
has called several times - no one there, hangs up.
Other sites say it s EDF customer services.
Said it was my bank and that western union transfer had been taken from my account of £600 and that they were my bank press1 to talk to them to discuss the matter. My wife answered. Foreign male called asking to speak to XXX. No security questions asked. Claimed he was from Microsoft. When told we were on TPS, he became argumentative. He clearly hadn't heard of TPS. When asked to remove our details from their database he became aggressive and said he would disconnect our phone at our address. He knew our address because he read it out! He then put the phone down when I said in the background we were connecting to the police.
