SCAM: I believe this caller is possibly cloning local STD numbers. In an American automated-voice it then claims a substantial purchase has been made fron Amazon via your VISA account. Account hacked. stayed on the line to get a recorded American voice thanking me and putting me through. 2nd time today on different numbers. last time I suggested they should cut me off as threatened - surprise - I'm still connected.

Call from "Domestic Appliances" claiming that due to our claim-free record we are due a major discount. When quizzed on insurance account numbers we were given a random account number and an account start date which pre-dated our arrival in the town. When asked for the address of the account we were given an alternative address in the town.
