If you get a call you should answer or call back as the problem is that the initial database maker sells your number on to other junk call companies. If you have a call from them you should call the number back and ask for James, the call centre manager and demand where they got your number from. Direct loan company. Not a scam, you've obviously made an application with them. An 0208 number is a standard landline number and not a premium rate number.

Had voicemail left from this number. Said it was for Feedback after my recent call with Dixons. I have been dealing with Curry s earlier today so assume it s connected with that.

It seems the criminals, who obtained personal information as a result of leaked information from Talk Talk, are telling people their broadband service is likely to be closed down after 24 hours. It is rubbish. I did not answer the call, and got my information from other sites.

I received a call from this number, when I answered they hung up, however the call seemed to continue. I think this is some sort of scam.

My daughter receives nasty and offensive messages from that number couple of times. Some of them sounded quite dangerous.
