Telecoms company - sounded very ropey to me - number now BLOCKED

This number called me twice in two hrs saying they was from talk talk and there was a fault on my computer is this another scam

19 Oct 2021 - Received at 13.45 hours. As I didn't speak, line went dead! Experience has taught me that many scam calls are voice activated, thus, if you remain silent, they cut off! Reply

Another call from this number silent then hung up.. I believe this is due to previous calls when I have kept them on the line for 30 mins plus pretending to check my computer and blocking their attempts to try and do anything before informing them I have scammed them and dont actually have a computer.. and laughing loudly as they terminate the call with some abuse.. idiots

Constantly briefly rings without waiting. Presumably hopes for expensive recall.

Been getting calls from this number over last few days so called them back. First a woman answered, seemed like it was the last thing she wanted to do and told me the line was bad so she would call me back. No call back so I called again. A man called Joshua stated he was from Lotto Social and would like to offer me 5 free Euro Millions lines for tomorrow night (24/04/2015). I told him it wasn t something that would interest me but thanks for calling and could he make sure I don t get anymore calls. He said

SCAM SCAM SCAM - he wouldn t explain what the company he works actually does day to day. Further research they buy companies.

Allegedly from BT however hung up when i asked for the information to be emailed (i didn t give any information). Checked with BT, this was not a call from them. It s a scam.

They say they have phoned earlier in the day, which they have not.Much like Ian above. Very annoying.

It's a company called First Contact by Utilita. I was called on my mobile and they hung up. A return call revealed they were a call centre and I have now blocked the number.

Another nuisance number that rings me now & then. I never pick up. Why don`t they realise that they never get an answer from me. We live in a world of IDIOTS. About time they found another line of work.

This number has called me twice this afternoon, it was a missed call as they called me whilst I was at work. They didn’t leave me any voicemail message so I’m just assuming it was some kind of sales call, which I wouldn’t have answered anyway. I’ve looked it up and the number is from the centre of London. I’ve absolutely no idea who it’s from, but as there’s no message it can’t be important.
