They called to say I had a minor accident in the last 2.5 years. When I asked what vehicle it was, they said they couldn t tell me because of data protection. I enjoy keeping them on the line while they waste their own time. Sometimes I tell them I m just getting the details and leave them hanging on. It stops them calling anyone else for a while until they get fed up.

Received a call from this number from person with Lancashire accent said he was from HYA. When asked who was HYA he said the company dealt with taking card payments. When I stated I was not interested he asked 'Why not'. I realised it could be a scam to obtain bank details and cut them off.
Called me at 8.35am and left no message. I suspect this is a scam.

Same experience as everyone else who has commented, claimed to be an HRMC call and were filing a case against me and to press .
Recognised first part of number as probably an unwanted caller, so just ignored it before using app to block it in future.
Calls me 2/3 times a day landline and mobile. Today decided to pick up to tell them to remove me from their database and I had reported the number for harrassment. They said, it s because we can t get hold of you. I said, put anything you need to in writing and remove me from this list. Woman was surprised and said, "but it s the AA", I said, I don t care who you are! As I don t belong to the AA anyway, I certainly wont be joining them in the future!
