This number must be part of the range of numbers dedicated to the same call centre - I can see more similar numbers of the same range 1172942xxx reported here already, so far as I can see on internet with insurance review company / accident chasers (mostly road traffic accident) / PPI. This number has been ringing my mobile for the past 2 weeks, it rings up to 45 times a day despite being told not to ring
a PPI claim company. was told that they were following up a reply to the text message that i sent to them. shame they never read it properly because it was a highly offensive way of saying "please leave me alone". was told that i would be taken off the database... bit hard to do when i rang from a landline, didn t give my mobile number out or my name. wonder how long it will be until i get to be so polite again >:-)
