Call was made, I didn't recognise the number so I let it go to voicemail, it didn't wait & hung up. I rang said number and a automated message said "the Number you have dialed has not been recognised, please hang-up & try again".
SCAM - pretending to be from Lloyds Bank... asking to call on 01332 556003 if a standing order for £537 to NVG Life Insurance had not been set up by the recipient. Recipient has no account with LLoyds, so definitely a scam.

SCAM in my view - telling me they were calling about the warranty on my Bosch washing machine - it had expired and wanted to charge me £7 for it. I do not have a Bosch and the machine I have is at least 15 years old! English voice for a change. Apparently the manufacturer hands over the customers details.

"Energy Advice Team". Called a TPS registered number. Government acreditation requires all registered suppliers to abide by a code of practice for marketing, which includes screening calls against TPS. Registration of your supplier is essential to reclaim government incentives. Therefore a disreputable supplier. No "Energy Advice Team" in MCS database. Do not use. Number barred.

Got a call from 01224 515928 on my mobile (which is registered with the telephone preference service). There was a lot of background noise typical of a call centre. Caller asked for FirstName. I said have you heard of the telephone preference service. They either didn't hear what I said or ignored it and asked for FirstName again. I said who is calling. They said are you FirstName LastName. I said I want to know who is calling first before I say who I am. They said they can't continue the call. I said fine,
