Silent Call, just once
They kicked off with "It's just a quick call" which sends alarm bells in my head. They started asking question about my life insurance, I asked where they took the number from, and as always that is where the conversation ends. SCAM, don't talk to them
Just had a call from this number, man claiming to be from a Government backed energy efficiency scheme doing work in my area. Strange that he couldn't tell what area I lived in when I asked him though.... sounds like yet another scam!!

Phoned me twice, answered 2nd call. Appeared to know a lot about me , name, address, mobile number etc. Phoning about my life cover on my mortgage, they gave up when I stated how cheap my existing life insurance is per month and my company pension will payout on death. Will block.
Said it was an arranged call back, that I had spoken to a colleague earlier; not true, I had been out all day. They said it was about a claim I had made re ppi. When I denied making a claim, said i have not paid ppi, the caller argued with me. I was polite, he spoke to me as if i was stupid (being female and older?!)
