Accepted call and was greeted with friendly How are you today. BUT then went on to ask if I had heard of an IVA. Said yes and asked how they had my number. The reply was they were ringing on behalf of the government to stop people paying excessive credit charges. Asked them to remove my number. Staff member shirty said she had not spoken to me before and just wanted to know my circumstances. Is this one big scam? My mobile is blocked and number hidden so where do they get the information?
Indistinguishable voice on end of the phone and then I was left hanging there till I rang off and checked the number!!!!!

Didn't answer as keep getting similar numbers call for surveys & saying I can get a free voucher then when they get back to you they say you have to sign up for something with payment details for the voucher. Sometimes when I've answered it just goes dead. Similar numbers have also been people saying stuff about help with debt or ppi's, also some saying about claims for an accident that I've never had. I keep blocking the numbers but I still get calls & each time it's a slightly different number & I ask the
