I was getting 2-3 calls a day I kept ignoring them but eventually answered and it was ppl claims so I hung up

Fraud Recorded message saying it was from "Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs" claiming there was a "tax fraud claim against me", and to "press 1 to be connected". If I didn't press 1, a warrant for my arrest would be issued and I would be "arrested immediately". Guess what? I didn't press 1 and have not been arrested. They must think we are all stupid.

PPI. They said it was called HELP YOUR CLAIM. I asked to speak to the manager and told them that my phone was registered to not receive cold calls, and asked them where they got my number from. They asked for my email address so they could let me know where they obtained my number from. I refused to give it, as next thing they will be sending me emails too. SCAM by recorded voice saying they were HM Revenue & Customs and a tax fraud had been reported. Say to press 1 to discuss with the officer. If I didn’t press a number to be connected I woukd soon be arrested. Obviously pressing any key will incur huge charges or they will try to get you to give personal information etc. My number is really private so I wonder just who sold it to these scammers?
