how do they get our telephone numbers ? i never use any of my private numbers when asks to leave contact info on forms ect, someone must somehow collect them and sell them on ! it must cost the firm to ring these numbers, unless there breaking the law and somehow redirecting.

This number comes from Stowmarket, I don't answer unknown numbers and they left no message. Have missed calls from them on my mobile, was trying to dig some info on the internet before calling them back, but found nothing, no luck. People pls did someone answer this number, who is it?

Strong foreign accent asking me to confirm my name and address. I asked where got his information from. He proceeded to tell me he was doing a survey on household appliances. I asked again where he got his information from as I am TPS registered and ex directory. Also told him that I do not appreciate being questioned by unsolicited phone calls. He said something along the lines of, "Oh, TPS, this won't happen again". Very hard to understand fully. Suspect some sort of scam.
