I have a recorded message for cold callers on my phone. I keep a list of all unfamiliar numbers who call me and don't seem to have been called by this number or similar before.

They rang me to tell me that they were calling me from BT and were offering a service upgrade to eliminate harassment or telemarketing calls. I said that was fine, however she then asked me for details off my card for identity verification to which I answered you rang me and told me my name?? I ended the phone call very soon after that and didn t part with any details. If this is a genuine call from BT they should be pulled up for harassment themselves.
I had to block this number. This person has been calling every single day, sometimes twice a day - it's a sales call.
