Message left on my voicemail asking me to call back, saying it was not a sales call. Very odd as I only had this new phone number installed a few days earlier having moved into a new house.
This was not a person calling. I didn't listen to the full message as I immediately knew it was not genuine, but concerned for elderly people who may be alarmed.

Amanda from Safety Guide asking for one of our colleagues by his first name only. I asked what it was regarding & she claimed that he agreed in March to sponsor some books for local schools. I checked with the colleague in question & he confirmed that he hadn t agreed. I advised her of this & told her that when i googled her number it was linked to nuisance calls to businesses claiming to have supported books for local schools. She then said they were legitimate because they had facebook, twitter & LinkedIn
